  1. #1
Im looking at putting an induction kit on my saxo,

woundering if anyone can recomend some kits to me,

not many things left i need to do but this is one of them
    Thanks

    Budget?
  3. #3
BMC CDA probably the best but not much between them all.
Cheap and effective is pannel filter with a better cold air feed set up.

For me, slightly; bit more grunt at top end and I'd assume better quality air into the engine. No change in MPG
  21. #21
use kamracing.com for all your performance needs !
  22. #22
yeah ive seen a fair few websites. but i dont really want to spend to much because i know what ever money i have been putting into my car im not going to get back unless i put all the standard parts back on....
so i try to budget to low cost items or just generally look for bargins haha,

any induction kit will fit a 1.1 just a lot of people adapt vtr/s ones to fit, by using different sized hoses etc its not rocket science to get it to fit
  25. #25
what size is the induction pipe bit that connects to the throttle body and cheers

does anybody know when kam racing will get more instock

its best to pm someone who has one or just email kamracing
  32. #32
I doubt you would need a reducer. you will be able to take up enough of the difference with the jubilee clip as far as i am aware.

Looking into getting one, has anyone got any pictures of it in there cars as I am worried about where it's against the slam panel if enough air is getting through or just customise it with a cold air feed into the bottom of the casing.

Any ideas or pictures would be great.

    Hefty

yeah im having the same problem mate. ive read that powetec are pretty good and highly rated. i really want one but my only worry with them is that all my friends that have had one on their cars have and all gone wrong somewhere down the line. the main problem with them seems to have been the air intake sensor. they just all got destroyed!! lol and i dnt want that happening to mine.

is that just because of redlining their cars constantly or is it something that commonly happens? does anyone have any ideas? because i am thinking of a performance panel filter and a cold air feed pipe aswell. but i do want the noise!
  50. #50
Id say it was down to your mates driving.
I have had some form of induction or different filter on everyone of my cars. Never had a problem with any of them because of it.

Sounds like them being mean to their motor. seen over the years induction kits in car help but never heard of the destroying them.
  52. #52
nice one thanks mate. iv jus had people tell me different things about them so iv never really been able to come to a decision. i am thinking of the BMC enclosed filter with a cold air feed pipe. but as i say i jus want a good sporty sounding filter that does its job and doesnt ruin anything!!! haha
