oil leak

   sadly theres an oil leak coming from near the altenator on the side of the engine i thought it was from the sump but it could be both ? ive tried gasket sealent and its not doing the job also notice my engine doesnt have engine spacers ? ( bit goes in before you put the rocker cover on)
   
   
   can anyone guide me what to do next ? and where to get engine spacers from.

   This sounds like the drive shaft seal is worn and you've got a gearbox oil leak. You sure it's engine oil that is leaking?

   car had a service man pointed could be from sump or near the headgasket ?

   correction the engine spacers are to go ontop of the oil baffle plate ?
