Front Drivers Wheel area - Knocking on full lock and steering wheel viberations

    Right, It started today,

Basically, I done a full lock and there was a clunky sort of sound and now,

When i do a full lock it makes a sort of rubbing sort of knocking sound every 2 secs or so,

A few viberations in the wheel, but its pulling as normal..

I can't really see as its pitch black but have no idea what it could be,

Anyone got any tests I could do to narrow my problem down?

    Cheers guys

    Driveshaft is my first guess.

Agreeing with above, sounds like driveshafts/CV issue
jack the car up and look for a worn out gaitor on the CV joint, this is meant to be all tidy, if it is split or there is lots of oil around the driveshafts/inside of the wheel then thats probably the problem mate

i have the same problem, my passenger side drive shaft has made a rattling noise when turning, especially going slow and on full lock. i investigated earlier and turning the shaft by hand you can feel its not right, its not smooth at all (best way i can describe it)

how easy are they to replace? its been making noises for ages, does that mean itll have damaged the gearbox?

    cheers all

could just be the hub end o the drive shaft.all shafts have a certain amount o play.(lol)sure your brakes arent seized on one side?
