Right ive made my own coilover conversion set courtesy of Rally design,
I know a few guy who have amde coils from them but ive been looking through some threads and ive noticed a few common problems just wondering whats the best way to prevent them,
Bending top strut mounts
stiffer springs strip soft alloy thread (yeah makes sense but im not sure the alloy is 'soft' otherwise it wouldnt be sold)
OEM struts on lowered cars.
Im putting 175 rate 2 1/4" springs on the coilovers put using OEM struts (not forever, only till i can afford some billys)
Would it be worth strengthening the top strut mount?
