quicksilver problem

i have recently purchased a quicky project,when i start it,it splutters and when i put revs on it wants to cut out,,,

ive tried different injectors and fuel line and coil pack so now im stuck

any ideas please,someone said inlet manifold so would this 1 fit before i buy it

What reg is it? Could be the Idle Control Valve located at the back of the inlet held on by two small screws; undo it, wip it with a rag; back on.

its on a s plate and ive already cleaned that mate

Ah, I think that manifold should fit as it has older port spacing's like the pre-2001 Quiksilvers. You should have 00-00 spacings as opposed to new 0-0-0-0 spacings.

At £15, its worth a punt.

right so i fitted that inlet and it still does it,i had a listen to tick over which is fine btw and when it starts to rev seems to stutter as its sucking in air..

any body help with this one?

i have a hole in the manifold (not inlet manifold) could this be the problem?

also some-one mentioned throttle body being f~cked?

i have black smoke coming outta the zorst?

help please
