smoking chrome angel eyes?

    hi guys i was going to sell my chrome mk1 angel eyes to buy some smoked ones, but due to timewasters ive decided to keep them, i was wondering if i could smoke them by taking the covers off etc? any1 done this? Cheers Lee

    Dont know how the covers come off, sure they're heat sealed on and the only way to get them apart is to break them. I've seen a couple of cars (not saxo's) with really really bright halo rings though so there must be a way to get in and change the led's in the rings....

    the leds u can change without opening them. mate has done it.
    think with the opening them up, it'll be hot or miss really, don;t know of anyone who has done it, could use search button as sure question gets asked, must be someone else who has tried
