Is siphoning petrol from a saxo possible?

Basically, the saxo im selling has two thirds of a tank of petrol, and itll add no value to the car so may aswell take what i need and put it in the new one.

Just wondering if it would be possible with abit of hose pipe?

Anyone else done this before? Any tips would be great thanks

Yes.

Get a long bit of hose make sure you put it far into the tank, suck on one end wait for the petrol to come out then pull the hose down into the bucket a little, and gravity will do its work. The hose needs to be lower than the bottom of the tank basically. I call it natures pump.

Id rather not mess around with buckets if possible as its a reasonable amount of petrol, think it would be possible to do it from one car to the other, parked close enough obviously

Petrol can then, might be able to go straight into other tank if lucky.
