refurbished rear beam with camber (now with pics)

   got my refurbished rear axel fitted last week which i got from im axel and i just noticed that i seem to have camber on both sides,its lowered 70mm any ideas?

   Sounds like the axle is f***ed mate i'm afraid, as it shouldn't be at a camber, that's what my old axle did but got a new one from IM axles and it's perfect now !

   i thought it was impossible to have camber on a new/refurbed axle because that would mean it was fooked

   Oh check your rear inner arch aswell, if your axle is cambered then you'll see it's been rubbing against the inner arch

   its not rubbing on the inner arch mate,and there is no play in the bearings it just looks like the wheels are sitting with top inward camber. it is only slight but i would have thought there should be none.

    i think its your imagination mate-its an illusion,i think.the sides of the car arent totally 90degrees vertical so it will look slightly off at times!
    away to get me a new axle thursday at C.A.S in shotts,plus lowered 40mm front & rear

    if theres no play i wouldnt worry about it. the rears have slight more camber when compared to the fronts, well on mine anyways

    they have about 1 degree of camber as standard, the opposing angle of the bumper+arch make it look more.

    you would never notice one degree with your eye,mate. It'll be as above-Illusion,as the sides arent perpindicular to the bottom etc

    But to some of the replies, just because there's no play doesn't mean it's fine. My old axle was totally fucked but could not find any play in it at all!

    But you agree slight camber on either side standard ? Thats what ive allways been told, thats what ive allways had, and never had any problems
