mk2 to mk1 front end conversion

    im considering swapping my mk2 front end for a mk1 front end.

    i know i will need:

    Bonnet, Wings, front bumper,headlights, arches and maybe the slam panel.

    anything i have missed out ?

    youve said arches and wings. you can just swap the arches onto the new wings and you will definaly need a mk1 slam pannel

    the mk1 front end looks meaner and i like the morrettes on the mk1 front end.
    plus you dont get them annoying headlight trims that the clips always snap.

    think you need to weld a bit to extend the slam panel toobecouse of the shape of the front ends

    yeah to make a mk1 into a mk2 you need to do a bit of chopping as the mk2 is slightly shorter. so i'd imagine to do it the other way round you might need to do a bit of 'extending'? not 100% though
