Cleaning the inside of headlight glasses

   Whats the best thing to use to clean the inside of headlights to prevent heat spots before you glue them back together - white spirit? Or alcohol spirit or similar?

   i used carb clean and a old tshirt
   
   break cleaner should do as good and dont use tissue cos it lets of dusty stuff if ya get wat im on about
   
   ow and u mite get high on the stuff is very strong so be careful

   Is there anything else cause I dont have any of that laying around and dont wanna have to buy alot just for 2 foglamp lenses
