Important! : gear linkage problem??

   ive just been trying to remove the gearbox in my mates saxo but when i removed the gear linkages the rubber have stayed on the ball joint and come away from the cup what do i do now can the linkages be replaced if so how much and how??

   indeed they can and I think a regular quote is something about £15? Your halfway there since you've already taken the old ones off, new ones just pop on.
   
   You can get two main types, ones with rubber like the ones you took off, or ones with pins. You sit them over the balljoint and insert a pin which keeps them on.
