Visual VTR engine mods

   Where is the best place to look for/buy things to tart up the engine bay on a vtr? Like rocker covers, hoses, covers etc

   rather than pay samco prices for hoses could always get these http://www.demonkar.com/product/red_...covers._95.asp
   cheaper option and come in diff colours.. just dont look as good as samco lol

   LOL at the hose covers
   
   Give it a good clean/detail, check the detailing section and you'll find guides on detailing the engine bay. Do this first to really freshen up your engine bay
   
   Buy a second hand rocker cover and get someone to spray it the colour you want. And get a nice looking induction kit, the BMC CDA looks good
   
   A strut brace aswell in the same colour as your rocker cover. Maybe a couple Samco hoses
   
   You will get all of this on eBay, and i'm sure someone local to you can spray the rocker cover

   Lol i know bless! Cheers for the advice bud I would like to get mine looking like a VTR on here, the one with with the white rocker cover, blue hoses and all the wires, leads and cables tidied up nicely Looks awesome

   Engine bays that are done properly with all the wires and cables concealed look amazing, but takes alot of work
   
   Also if the inside of your bay is rusty and tatty it will spoil it so would be better off with the engine out and respray the bay first, but thats alot of work
   
   The things i suggested would really brighten it up and look much better than standard without being too much work

    It really depends on everything you have tbh dude. The breather pipe's (smaller ones) i used to make myself. Sold quite a few on here... But i've stopped lately as had some people asking me to make them, i did and then never heard anything again... Got a bit annoying tbh lol.
    
    Stuff like the induction kit all depends on the kit you have yourself. For example the cold air feed i had to chop bit's up, get an end feed reducer (usually used on copper pipe on heating systems) as a reducing joiner etc.
    
    Wasn't really straight forward.

    The standard elbow that comes off the slam panel is used for the air feed, yes That's the only standard part left from the original air feed set-up. Even that i've had to space backwards a bit (toward the rocker cover)
