Engine Rebuilding ?

  1. #1
    Currently have a 1.1 saxo.

Looking to gain some experience with it when it comes to the engine side of things.

Would rebuilding the engine basically ' renew' the engine? I.e I can say it will get another '100k' from it for instance?

Im intrested in taking it out, and cleaning the bay out, and rebuilding it, and cleaning it up and so on.

    Any help?

    Cheers

take many pics incase you need them when rebuilding...
many parts on saxos have different part numbers dependant on model etc.. therefore always check original part number when replacing ie off ebay etc

hope this makes sense and helps!

ps you will more than likely shear bolts off of some sort so be warned!!

am sure many ppl on here will back me up if they do there own work!!

i have just bought all parts to rebuild my vts head, spent about 450 on it, 1.1 should be alot cheaper, also what toold do you have as you need lots of them for engine rebuilding.
