I changed my exhaust system today, supersprint centre section and magnex backbox onto my standard, my cars a mk2 so i thought that would be a cat back system, but then when taking it off, the cat was in the centre section
so when mot time comes what do i have to get? a manifold with a cat in the down pipe? cos i dont really wanna take the whole centre section out again??

#2hmmmmm maybe because your car is a 2000 they got confuzzeld when building your car andput an old exaust on. i really dont know mate; my exaust knowledge = nothing.

#3There was a cross over year with mix and match parts being fitted to the cars. You have a mk1 downpipe at the moment right? Hence your car is decat. Either get a mk2 mani with cat or swap your centre section for a mk1 centre with cat come MOT time

#4hmm i dont have a clue either mate =/ my mot is in feb so got abit of time to sort it out, kinda like how it sounds anyway :L

#5Look on your downpipe if there is a massive cylinder you have a cat. If not then just buy a mk2 mani with cat. Sorted

#6okay thanks mate, how much u think i cud pick up a mk1 mani up? from a scrappy or summit? which is a harder job? changing th centre pipe? or the mani?
