Thrust Bearing ???

Hi, i was driving home from work today and then suddenly i wasnt able to select any gears. i managed to get home stuck in 5th. I dont think its the gearbox as all gears will engage when the car is not running. I dont think its the clutch its self because that was replaced around 6 months ago or so.

Isit possible that the thrust bearing will have come loose or jammed in anyway at all ??

Usually when the car is running fine you can hear the thrust bearing when ticking over then as soon as you press the clutch pedal in the noise go's. now with the problem i have got you can hear the bearing whether the pedal is in or not, this is why i suspect the bearing...

Any Help will be much appriciated

thrust bearing should have been replaced with clutch its a 3 piece set. you will more than likely need all new...

av you checked clutch cable?

yeh the bearing was replaced as far as i no, i havehad a quick look at the cable, when the pedal is pressed the clutch arm moves a small amount. I have tried tomove the clutch armto adjust the cable but the arm is solid and wont move. Is there any chance become jammed or loose at all ?

yeah i would say the trust bearing is f**ked, i would recommend getting a clutch kit that should sort it out

the pressure plate and that are ok, ino this because i changed the gearbox around 3 months ago. May just try changing the thrust bearing on it own. Do you think this will solve the problem ? ? ?

i would get a clutch kit and it should sort it out, if not it could b the flywheel
