Doors won't open!

Just wondering if anyone has had a similar problem..

I locked my car last night with the fob, came to it this morning, and it won't unlock. It's de-pinned and de-locked, so had to get in via the boot.

I know there's a black box under the dash on the passenger side which must have something to do with the central locking, because its been temperamental eg locks then unlocks itself, so you give it a tap or wobble the car till it locks..

so it must have a loose connection? but now it wont do anything! Changed the battery in the fob..

Is it a case of buying a new one? i presume i'd need the fob with the box? will it immobilize the car if i disconnect it?

Any help would be mucho appreciated, as it looks like i've stolen it climbing in and out of the window lolz!

    BUMP,

even though i've mastered the 'starchy n hutch' method of getting in through the window, it's still not cool lol!

checked fuses, and changed the battery in the fob, still no luck!

    It's rather annoying

thought to replace the battery in the fob you need to unlock the car with the key in the door first

okay, 2 month in and im still climbing through the window.

Does anyone know where the receiver unit is for the central locking?

I thought it was the black box under the dash on the passenger side, but i've been told this is the immobilizer box.

Suited 'n' booted for work, and i have to climb in and out of the window >.<

    Helllllllllllllllllllllllllllppppppppp

The receiver for the mk2 saxos (i.e. the ones that don't have an infra-red remote) is under the dash.

Sounds to me like a loose connection on that unit if wiggling it make sit work.

    I assume it is a mk2?

I'm not sure about what the receiver is programmed to regarding replacement. Sorry.

Okay, randomly today my central locking started unlocking/locking itself 4-5 times on its own.. but still wont open with the fob.

This sound like a relay problem?

As i've taken my passenger seat out.. so i could lie down and get under the dash... traced all the wires from this mysterious 'black box' that no-one knows what it is.. They're all fine..

Also after a search, i check all the connections on the relays above the fusebox, all tight, so no problems there.

My only next idea is to take a diamond tipped steelsaw and cut my doors out..

    HELP!
