have u got an oversized backbox or induction on it because my old clio did it and iv heard tht some cars do it because it confuses the cars air fuel mix so the car thinks its getting loads of air so gives it loads of fuel so the engine dies down since its not getting what it thinks it is but as it dies down it realises its getting to much fuel so gives it more and just confuses the electrics, if u have got a big filter on it try the airbox back on, failing that i would say check ur idel.
