noise coming from inlet manifold

   Was wondering if anyody could help,
   the inlet manifold seems to be making a sort of clicking noise when on, and is moderately loud was wondering if anybody knows if it can be fixed or wil just need replacing thanks and what makes the noise.

   Black box at the top of the engine, when you follow the air intake up...if memory serves. I had the same problem, and was told its mostly natural for it to do that, just gets a little louder with age.
