Sub Query

    i might be this sub,250 w amp and wiring for 80 quid but when i asked him what was the subs wattage he said it he didnt know and he'll take to halfords to check 5 min later i get a txt saying its a 200 watt sub .. and im thinking surely that cant be right, can it ?!? the amps 250 watt .. surely its alot powerful than that as you can see from my other thread the sub looks beast !! has he got it wrong ? is it going to sound crap ? also i cant even find the sub on the web so cant check it myself
    any advice would be greatly appreciated
    because i dont know much about watts and electrics and subs and shit

    if you never heard of it, and its that cheap, its a good chance its wank, if i was you, would save and buy a trusted brand, but on the other hand, the amp and wiring looks good, ask him to break it

    ye but is the wattage right ? im sure the wattage should be higher and powerful than 200watts shouldnt it ?

    Just to let you know mate, caraudiocentre has got a massive sale on sub, amp, and box packages. You can pick up a brand new JBL sub, an amp to run it at 500W, and a box for under £80! Just see if he can break the wiring kit to you for cheap, and then go with a brand new, trusted brand.
