Spare - steel or alloy ?

   Just got this feeling to check my spare this evening as never got it out or looked over the jack since got my VTR 18 months or so ago, anyway its obviously a brand new tyre and pressure all good, jack looks like never been used but its a steelie - cheapo Citroen or have you got an alloy as a spare?

   But to answer your question spares were all steels, could probably fit a VTR wheel under but it would be ruined rubbing against the cage/boot floor

   an alloy will not fit under the car thats why its a steel rim

   when i had my vtr it had a alloy for a spare
