Imobiliser problem

   jst wondering if anybdy knows about this. i have a vtr (2002) when putting white dials in it i damaged the little black box tht reads the key code now the key flashes on the dash when i turn the ignition on and car wont start. jst wondering if anybody knows if i change the black box and barrel and key will it go? or will i need the barrel, key, black box and ecu?
   
   anybody know? cheers

   i had the same problem and to go to citroen themselves to have the key reprgramed all in it cost me £370

   take it to citroen, stuff like that they know best! But a pre warning take a credit card as its not cheap from what i remember

   jst wanted to know as i was goin to sell the lot as a complete conversion as im breaking the car and need to know if they need all 3 or not

   Yes you need the ecu, transponder and key. How did you manage to break the box though, thats pretty talented

   box wasnt very tight on the barrel and wen pulling a bit plastic of it jst snapped of. must of been caracked or sumfin before lol
