Starter motor removal help!

  1. #1
Ive removed the 3 bolts and the 2 wires which are bolted together. However, there is 1 more thin blue wire still bolted to the starter motor and there is no space for me to fit anything to remove the nut which holds that wire in.

That blue wire is sandwiched between 2 nuts and there is no space for a spanner/socket to fit in.

EDIT : managed to fix it so thread is no longer needed

Looks like its because the attachment has bent round, just bend it flat then.

deep socket and ratchet, i managed it on an S engine when the engine's in. just persist.

    8mm deep 1/4" socket.

careful as that looks like it may snap if you bend it right back
