-
#7I wish I was cool enough to raise my post count as quick as you

#8starter motor maybe fucked, fuel pump could be fucked.
-
#9Fuel pump will more than likely be the cause.
-
#10old thread!!
starter motor? wtf
mine has started doing this aswell but only since it has been stood, i start it maybe once every 2 weeks and it primes for about 15 sec but starts fine everytime and runs sweet... battery is always disconnected btw -
#11if it takin so long to start then the starter motor may be on out way out.
-
#13You misunderstand, he said fuel pump primes for a long time, not the car takes a long time to start.
Mine primed for about 15 seconds, it would continue to prime even after I had started the car. -
#14ah rite, haha yeah re-read it lol. my bad. it can sometimes do it for longer if theres a leak, cos one of my injector was pissing it everywhere, n it did it for ages, cos doesnt it prime putting fuel into the engine and it will do it till the pressure is rite?

#15You sure the fuel filter isn`t blocked?

It always take a lot longer if the battery has been disconnected. -
#18You could have a pin prick in a fuel line causing the fuel pipe to get are in so it takes longer because its pushing the air out. I would say its the pump getting weak and taking longer to pressure up.
