Altenator/Power Steering

    Hai, ive recently had a problem with my 52 plate 1.1 . My power steering cuts out and the battery symbol comes on the dash, everything else seems to work fine. And it only done this twice.. it hapens after driving for a while, the powe steering returns to normal after and i dont get it at all later
    Any ideas whats happening? my suspicions is a faulty altenator or loose connection its damn anoying

    if the alternator is faulty it will cause the power steering to malfunction
    i would say it is defo someting with alternator either dodgy connection or as you say faulty alternator

    I had a similar problem last week. The alternator belt was slipping off.
