lip on 1.1

   The lip on the 1.1 rear wheel arches have stopped me from having 15" alloys. They rub because the car is lowered. I folded them over but it still rubs. How do i go about grinding them off? what shood i use? How do i treat it to stop rusting?

   Just grind off the lip completly. Then underseal the exposted metal

   i use a flexy/flapper disc to grind them down then a little underseal mate

   ive got 16's on my 1.1 dont grind anything away its not necesary just get your arches flared, mine were pressed right up against my tires at first but had them flared and got a good gap of half an inch (Y)
