   Hello well yesterday i had my cambelt and water pumped changed as i was driving home i went over a few little reduce speed bumps on the road just after a corner (forgotten the proper name for the annoying things) just abit after these pumps i heard a funny noise comming from the engine bay and from underneath the car the noise can only be described as like aload of spanners been thrown around underneath their, my first thought was **** has my cambelt snapt slowed down and the noise stopped and the car was driving fine so i carried on driving.
   
   now am trying to figure out if this was just a mechanic leaving a few nuts or spanners in the engine bay once finished wiith my car?
   
   or if anyone can identify this as problem anyone experienced this before?
   
   is it a mechanical fault?

   id take it straight back to the garage just to be on the safe side.... better to loose it for another day than to have it layed up on the drive with ur vales shot

   It shouldn't make that sort of noise, take it back.
   
   And to answer your question: a mechanic left a screwdriver in there once. Wasn't impressed.

   well it hasnt done it since, i suespect their was just some spanners left in their and they had fallen out whilst driving
