Dials not working, MOT Fail?

    I changed my standard clock dials for one with a rev counter which have two extra on gauges one for temperature and one for pressure I guess, these gauges are not on the clock dials so they don't work but the lights still come on to warn me about them temperature etc. Just wondered if it would still pass an MOT with not all the gauges working or am I going to have to change the senders for it to pass?

    wouldnt have thought it'd be a fail, to pass an mot you dont even need to have an engine in the car
