Query?!

    Hi guys,

Been a while since i had my accident! Been saving hard and finally found a car, still the problems are:

    1) Gearbox bearings are worn and need replacing some time
    2) Exhaust (lambda) sensor needs replacing

How much will that cost to fix and can you drive away on it?

    Thanks

Its drivable but your best getting another used gearbox rather than replacing the gearbox bearings. Nothing really too bad and the lamda sensors are fairly cheap from a scrappy/on here.

a used gearbox for a vtr is from £50-100 and used lamda sensor should be about £15

Dont buy the lambda sensors from the dealer, when I owned a Quiksilver pug qouted me £150 or something like that :/

New box and sensor should be fairly cheap from scrappy or here though.
