Important! : Saxo VTR won't start! Need help!

Right, I have a Saxo VTR 97. Its has been sat for about 3 weeks while i went away, I took the battery off to get it charged, after charging it fully I tried to start her up, I put the code in but when i turned the key nothing happened, literally, I managed to bump it, I drove it around the block and let it running for a while switched it off tried again and the same thing happened, I have bought a new battery and fitted a new starter motor but still nothing

I noticed today that when i turn the key and have all the dash lights on if i use anything i.e lights, indicators, put my foot on the brake it loses power and the lights fade away also sometimes i can hear a weird ticking noise from the ECU when I turn the battery on. If anyone has any idea what this could be PLEASE PLEASE let me know as i miss driving my baby around.

theres a number of things it could be could do with taking it to a porfessional garage hard to diagnose on here mate

That's what i was fearing

there is just no power or anything when i try to start it

not turning nothing....I'm gutted

could be something simple though try checking all the obvious things firsts earths etc

Sorted it, turns out the + terminal was a bag of ....
Had it replaced and bought a new battery because mine wasn't staying charged so the Red Dragon is back on the road
