does this look loose + is there a leak

   when im in reverse something knocks the underside of my cr, people have told me it could be that my exhaust is loose, i personally dont think that it looks loose, what are your thoughts?
   And the other pic is just under the rocker cover, the black seal is cracked so i dont know whether its caused a leak.

   the rubber seal is cracked? just get it replaced only like a tenner

   is it the seal round the rocker cover its a common thing on saxos just replace the seal and should stop the leak

   Could be the head gasket too - quite a lot of TU engines tend to leak from just above the alternator.

   not be your head gasket mate just replace the black seal as said about a 10 spot from a cit dealer.
   
   Also check all the exhaust hangers and brakets as these tend to wear and cause the exhaust to sway to much causing it to hit the heat sheilds on the underside of your car, worse case your lower engine mount gone causing movement in the engine hence the noise but again a cheap repair.

   it cant be the center section where the metal bar comes out to hang it, it can knock on the sides of the heat shield. my old car did it.
