clunking noise

   ive taken my car to 2 garages now with this problem and non of them can find what it is. they says theres no problem with driveshafts or anything to do with wheel bearing or cv joints, exhaust isnt loose or anything in the engine bay. so really stuck on this one! some times it makes the noise and some times it dont so its really weird. has anyone had this and sorted it by anychance or know what may be causing it.

   is there anything you are doing that makes the noise, for example turning corners, hard accelerating or braking. Its hard to comment on the problem if we don't know any of the symptoms

   it sometimes does it when i left off my any of my pedals but mostly when its a bumpy road.

   i'd take a stab at either the struts or ball joints, check them out mate

   Ive think ive saw somewhere that it could also be a rubber ball off the gear selcetor so going to take this to garage see if they can see it. thanks for your help
