Just fitted and now woundering...

Just fitted some 15" alloys onto my saxo and realizing after having 3 people in the back it starts to scrape....
two people in the back is fine...
    now would this be;
the arches need to be rolled more.
    or
is it possible to buy/fit flaired arches ?
    Thanks

id say roll the arches more or maybe stiffer suspension mate
  3. #3
    id say dont take passengers...

    Haha,
well the rear is a torsion bar :/
  5. #5
Haha get stiffer shock then it thicker torsion bars being a flat arch it will most likely have 17 mm bars wen the vtr/s has 19 mm

The most obvious and cheapest answer would be don't have 3 people in the back.

stiffer shocks is the answer to this or no fat birds in the back!

stiffer shocks is NOT the answer.
You will just over dampen the rear, causing the car to handle worse.

Getting the rear ride height adjusted or don't carry 3 rear passengers is the answer.
Smashing the shit out of your wheel arches because your mates are fat? Tell them to go to weight watchers is another answer.

You can fit a VT* kit which is on the furios, VTR, VTS. Then cut your arches.
Still not worth it, just tell the third fatty to walk or cycle. Could do with the exercise tell them.

i think the other option which hasnt been mentioned is, take the alloys off, but i wouldnt bother just putting better dampers on, thats just the short term fix
