Wing mirror covers!?

   got some off ebay and they turned up today, looks like they are clip on but im pretty sure my wing mirrors dont have a place for the clips even though they have the groves for the shape of the cap. think i will break them off and stick them on, what would you suggest i use to keep them on? thanks

   Carefully use a pair of side cutters or a sharp knife cut the clips down so the mirror cap sits flush on the wing mirror.Then on the back of the mirror cover roughen it up a bit(it will bond better)I used Superglue gel to fix my covers on & 3 years later their still on safely.
