HELP!! 15" alloys... tyres are rubbing!

  1. #1
Hey, i just got some NICCCEE! 15" alloys and got some BRAND NEW 195/55 15 Vs ( pirellie P6's ) put on the car, but there rubbing on the front inner arches when turning... Dont really know what to do now. I think i have a few options...

    1. Get new tyres ( i thought the 195/55 15s would be alrite!) Would 195/45 15s sort it out?? or can i get even lower profile tyres?

    2. The passenger side arch has been cut ( by previous owner ) and theres JUST enough clearence when turning so they dont rub on the passenger side, so i may have to cut the drivers side but dont really wanna do this.

    3. Would lowering the car sort this out and how much? ( im planning on lowering it anyway, but when i have the money UNLESS it will sort it out then ill get it done ASAP!)

    Any help would be good!

will try and get some pics up

Your running the wrong profile, which is why your getting rubbing etc...

You preferably need 195/45/15 on there.

Buy 2 new front wheels mate with lower profile, id buy you 195/55's off you maybe ?

195/55's are too large, even with the arch liners removed, you will just be able to get away with 195/50's without them rubbing (on a lowered car)

my advice is, sell the tyres and use the money to buy a lower profile set...
