PAS fluid leak!

   ive got a power steering fluid leak in my 90hp mk2 R
   
   its been lowered 60, dunno if this increases risks of pipes splitting or what but does anyone know where i could start looking for the leak. I filled it up with soap and water hoping it would drain out easy but it doesnt start leaking untill driven. any ideas? Anything prone to leaking?

   pipe near steering rack has rubbed through behind engine by the sounds of it, common on lowered cars

   supposing that is the case (ill check in a bit) do you know what the pipes called so i can order one? or could i put a hoseclip round it ect?

   the best way to tell if its spit is turn the car on full lock while looking behine the inlet manifold you will see it piss out from the pipe.

   yeah man thats what i just did and it is that hose, cheers guys.
   
   unfortunatly its not just a tiny hole its been mangled by the steering rack so a jubilee clip wont work. could someone tell me the name of hose, pt no. or link me ect????

   Edit: have just come back from the garage and they said £150 supplied and fitted... LAWL

   these are what we sell to solve the problem, charge £40 fitting so £150 is a bit rich but there again i have no idea how much new ones are lol

   cheers mate, i did see them on ebay but i wasnt sure. are they deffinatly the pipes i need?
   
   Obviously you know what your talking about but i dont wanna buy them and they not be the right ones how much should labour cost then?
