WindScreen cracked! Need Help/Advice!

   My windscreen cracked on the way to work this morning, a truck drove past and it spat up a handful of stones, didnt just chip it, completely cracked; My insurance doesnt cover this, so...
   Where is the best place to get this replaced.
   Has this happened to any of you; if so, how much did you pay.
   Any help will be appreciated, thanks.

   4A Windscreens were the cheapest by far when the rear one popped on my old car - £130 fitted IIRC, front screen might be a bit more? 0191 2303110.

   i work for autoglass, i've known people in the past to phone there insurance company up and for a small fee add glass cover to the policy, most cases it'll cost 50, 60 or 75 quid for a replacement screen. see what your insurance can do

   Going to cost £88 to replace my windscreen, cant really complain

   Aye; it was with that 4A Windscreen company too, fitting it on saturday so will see what they are like

    yeh thats good mate i paid £115 for new screen on my old saxo but iv jus got a 5p chip in my windscreen n i need to get it sorted where would you say to get a chip filled?

    mine was about 90 quid.
    
    i just rang all the local places!
    
    autoglass was summet stupid like 250 quid!
    
    i said no thanks iv had quotes of about 100
    
    then they said "but does that include VAT?"
    
    hahah as if vat is goin to be 150quid....
