Injector advice, Clio 172 or vtr ??

    Ok so far I have fitted the following to my mk1 vtr (early silver top)

    Raceland 4-2-1
    Rallye inlet with cold air feed
    I have a Kent pt40 to put in also

    My question is, would I get a better gain from putting 172 injectors on as the theory I have in my head is that with the rallye inlet sucking in more air it would benefit from larger injectors after being mapped with the other mods and cam,
    Or are the vtr injectors up for the job?

    vtr injectors should be up to the job to be honest mate, i doubt you'll max them out using that spec, only way to tell is to get a proper map done really, whats your plans for remapping?

    I'm not to sure yet to be honest I haven't really looked into it yet, im not sure if there is any around Watford way, I'm def going to go for a live map on the rollers though do you know any decently places? I've heard mixed opinions about the pt40 though saying it's a very mild cam, but on other threads people say they have had good gains from it after mapping etc, so I'm not sure what to do, should I sell the pt40 and go for a ph3?? Trouble is the old girl has done 105k now, I'm not to keen on it revving it's nuts of to be honest, plus emissions at mot time!

    172 injectors won't fit they're picos. Try gti6 or 306 Xsi ones for the vtr
