Gonna be fitting 15's soon, but the cars currently on 13's. anyone got an idea of how much this throw the speedo reading out or will i need to get it re-calibrated?

i went from 13's to 16's and its made virtually no difference.

your speedo will be out anyway. havent been in a saxo where its accurate yet. was running standards and 15's speedo still out by around 4-5mph

yeah tbh mine is out 5ish already before i changed my wheels... just change them and find a speed trap to check it or use a tomtom with the speedo on that

the speedo goes through the gear box, the wheel size makes no difference

and how do you think the gearbox picks up your speed?

the speedo will be reading a higher speed than you are actually travelling anyway. so by fitting larger wheels your speedo will probably end up more accurate than on standards. But to avoid extra strain on other parts you should aim to keep the overall size of the wheels and tyres combined, as close to standard as you can (fit a lower profile tyre) and also consider trying to keep overall weight similar as well.
