#2Are you having boost or n/a? Thats the only thing that dictates the map sensor required
-
#3with my dta ecu, i use a sierra cosworth map sensor. doesn't matter what car its off as long as it can read 2 bar or more if you're going boost
-
#4depends on the boost you want. the ecus are configurable to pretty much any sensors you use (map, coolant, air, tps etc), it just requires setting up correctly.
2.5 bar (250kpa) is suitable up to 1.5 bar boost
3 bar (300kpa) is suitable up to 2 bar boost
ONLY buy genuine map sensors.
we sell these parts, as well as any other ignition or fueling parts you may require for your conversion. -
#5magnetti marelli map sensor part number 06/00 2.5 bar
will i be able to use this along with omex 600? -
#6yes it will just need calibrating. most of my omex maps have used 3bar magnetti marelli sensors. but it wouldnt be a problem to adjust the settings to suit the 250kpa sensor.

#7cool, i got it for a tenner that why i asked

do i need to find a plug for it or does the omex loom have the plug that goes onto it? -
#8omex ready assembled turbo spec looms come with a map sensor connector yes.
the basic spec assembled looms do not, but it is an easy fix to upgrade it to accept map sensor.
