ecu remap?

   what is a rough cost for a full remap an what sort of garages can do it?

   if you are looking at a re-map, i would wait until you have all of the mods you want then get a dastek piggy back unit and a re-map/setup. it can be pricey but its worth it.
   
   GMC do them i think??
   check out the Dastek website for a list of places that do them

   got 285 cam,enclosed induction, 4-1 manifold wrapped and system. it's got a piggy bak ecu on it but it never runs rite an someone from the citroen garage said to unwire it an get a ecu remap as it's that that could be causing most problems?

   who did the piggyback ecu for you mate?they might not have set it up right

   it was already on when a got the car. you think a should trying getting the dastek remaped first then?

   well i would take it somewhere for it to be sorted mate, they are supost to be great

    yeah sounds like it might not have been mapped right i'd try getting that re mapped first like boz said they are supposed to be great

    i was gonna say go to jamsport mate,they map the standard ecus,but they will just tell you to take the dastek off as it is not the way to go

    im sure there are a few places anot to far from you that can do the dasteks, i remember looking at a site and there were a few places in sunny scotland that did them. there are a few places in the north east too, but im not sure if they do dasteks or not?
