Whats goin on!! :/

   ok so ive been having problems with my car for about 2 weeks, its been hard to start as the immobiliser does not pick up my key and turn off, also as ive been driving the battery light has flickered on and off.
   
   so last night driving to my mates my stereo starts to go crazy and turn on and off, then all my gauges turn off and go to 0 so im like ok.. later on i tried to start my car it wouldnt even turn over and then after bump starting it the lights where so dim i couldnt drive and it stalled at low revs so now i have to go tow it back to my house :/
   
   whats goin on :/!?????

   Get the multimeter out and check the battery and altenator to begin with

   Disconnect battery from car whilst its running, if the alternators working fine, it should be able to keep the car going still

   just need to get the car started lol, coudl low battery be the cause of my immboliser messing about? or would it be the other way round? what shall i check with the multimeter, last night i bump started it and i had to keep it revved so the engine didnt cut out does that say its the altenator or the battery? thanks guys

   Sounds like alternator to me.

   alternator causes the stereo and clocks fucking up, each change. and cause of the alternator the engine is using the battery for power. change the alternator

   ok so had the multimeter out, started the car up im getting 14v across the wires that connect to the battery but im getting 11v accros the battery terminal hmmm also i took the battery wires off while the car was on and it stayed on tried putting full beam on but it cut out. ???
