Important! : P1613 configuration fault code any ideas

    right people my car has gone in to limp dick mode after failing alternator and it wont go over 3000rpm. I have changed/cleaned idle control valve and air flow meter and its still doing it ! I have had it plugged in and its coming up with a P1613 fault code which say's its something to do with the configuration ??? anyone have any idea what this is all about and what i would have to do to rectify this problem ???

    You need to configure ECU,but you will need original citroen equipment like LEXIA.
    Configuring must be done only when changing certain parts on car,like oxygen sensor,knock sensor,ICV...

    ECU not configured :
    -The configuration fault is present
    -The diagnostic LED is illuminated
    -The engine speed is limited to 3000 rpm

    Fault code 4L - Configuration

    The configuration fault appears when configuration has not been performed
    To erase this fault, configure the injection ECU with a LEXIA or PROXIA diagnostic tool
    After configuring, switch off ignition and wait at least 3 seconds before switching ignition back on

    Try to disconnect battery terminals for few hours,maybe it will help if not you must configure it

    jesus christ what a mission lol that sounds expensive typical french peice of shit !!! one day i might get a saxo that wont go wrong lol
