passenger door problem

   Hello guys and girls of sax-p
   
   I have recently brought a vtr and the passenger door pops open whilst I'm driving it doesn't actualy open it catches on the latch but does anyone else have this problem and how do I go about fixing this.

   Is that the bit on the inside or on the frame itself mate

   sounds like weld on door hinge gone,door off reweld hinge,treat done.had same prob myself last year passenger door dropped,causing latch to catch

   is door correctly aligned? if its dropped and out of alignment then it could well be hinge pulling out as jaytay says

   It don't seem to have droped there isn't any play in the door itself lol its bugging me it looks as though sombody may have tried to prise the door open because that and the drivers door doesnot sit flush agiants the car but drivers door is fine no problems with that

    as mandy said its the door latch quite a common thing on saxo/106's

    mine is the same. but on the passenger side the door wascreaking to the point it got stuck and i couldnt open it. but suppose thats safer then it flying open on its own tho lol

    It doesn't fly open or nuffing it sorta pops on to the second catch or latch if you know what I mean
