Driveshaft bearing refitting.

    Can anybody help me.
Basically doing a clutch on a VTR, building it back up and I can't get the drivers side intermediate bearing bracket to sit back in place, the dowels are catching the engine about 2-3 mm above the holes they need to sit in but I haven't managed to drop them any, with the driveshaft in the gearbox it is solidly locked in place in relation to the engine. I have slackened the 2 11mm's on the bearing but can't get anything to move there although I have just read somewhere that there might be a circlip on that.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Remove driveshaft from the carrier, bolt carrier to the engine, then refit the driveshaft

    Job done, problem solved
