Ok where to start

1. When i release the handbrake the indicator stay's on, with a little but of shaking about it goes off. If i tighten my handbrake will this help ?

2. When i put the car into reverse theres a loud pinging noise from underneath, Any ideas what this could be ?

3. when i turn the car on its very loud and it sound's rough as shit, ive had a look at the rocker cover and the seal seems to be exposed at certain points and the area around it seems quite oil'y, would a seal change help this ?

i've got that the pinging noise 2 saxo's 4 u. on mine it the arb end plate just needs tightning there's a guide on here.

1. Underneath the handbrake is the button(switch) for the handbrake light check that the wires are connected
2. Gear selecter might be faulty as if it isnt going into gear properly
3. Have you had an oil change recently or has the car been serviced?

if the handbrake light stays on could be either dodgey button or low brake fluid

Ill check the switch for the handbrake later cheers

as for the oil i bought the car 2 months ago and i havnt touched anything, nor has it been serviced

2: is the exhaust banging? on mine when you're in reverse it easily hits the exhaust :-/
