spax lowering springs

    i am looking at buying these http://www.spax-suspension.co.uk/spa...5_p1326071.htm

    but i am just wondering if i can keep the standard struts and dampers or would i need spax dampers and need new struts ?

    You could BUT its not very good for em as 50mm is quite low for standard dampers try eurocarparts they do cheap bilstein shocks and dampers

    You can use the standard struts but beeing down 50mm will not do them much good.

    Why not save for a full suspension kit?

    true . duno i just looked at some of the prices £300+ kinda put me off lol . maybe if i find a good make for cheaper i well get it

    Heard bad things about GMAX shocks. Why not just drop the car 40mm all round and dampers and shocks shud be fine mate

    The parts are interchangeable between all models. the only difference is your 1.1 isnt as heavy as the models with the kit on or the heavier engined VTS so you'd find that it wouldnt lower it 50mm, it would be approx 40mm.

    The parts themselves will fit
