Rear Shock

   hi, ive just taken my rear shock off. The one that i think is leaking. And i can only compress it a little. So now i cant even get it back on !! Am i right in thinking this is broke ? should i be able to compress it fully ? any help would be great !

   You would need quite a few tones of force to compress it think about the weight of a car on top of it. You need to lift the car up off the ground then install the top part of the shock first

   The car is of the ground mate ! and yeah i get you. However its not the spring, the damper only has to absorb the shocks and cope with rebound i think. I was just wondering what the shocks were like when people buy their lowering kits

   haha Its fucked man !! And when i do manage to compress it it shoots back up. So its buggered. So im just gonna buy new ones
