its not a saxo but still french, iv got a 309 goodwood gti and one of my cylinders has no compression! omeone said it could be head gasket, if a headgasket has gone would it really result in no compression?

    thanks

yes it will as it pressure will just blow past and in to the next cylinder

    any other symptoms??

have you tried doing the compression test with a spot of oil down the bores?

there are a lotof things, smoke pours out from where you put oil in it. and spits oil out the dip stick and smoke comes from there too, leaks oil from somewhere but dont know where no compression on one of the cylinders.

don't waste time compression testing, get the head off lol. either head gasket or rings have gone allowing compression gases to escape into the crankcase, pressurizing it and blowing the oil out.

bent valve could cause no compresion?

As above, head needs to come off to see what the issue is.

Best case scenario is the head gasket to be honest
