With regards to fitting input shaft bearings, how much would it cost in labour? Does anyone know where i can get it done as most garages dont touch gearboxes or does anyone here offer any service?
Any gearbox gurus

I know the bearing itself is cheap but the labour I havent got a clue as its only specialists that touch gearboxes

#4If it's a VTR box I'd just look for a replacement or buy a refurbed unit to be honest.
You'd be looking at around £350 in parts and labour to get a box rebuilt anyway. Refurbed boxes are usually cheaper. -
#5I wouldnt want to look at second hand boxes as ive just been done by a member on here, and the only problem with my box is the ISB. Plus where do i go to get a refurbed vtr box at a good price?
