euro(ish) project !! WARNING HEAVY THREAD!!

  1. #1
few of you may no i was puttin a full body kit on my flat arch but i got perswaded when i saw a certain car today on the net and was one of 4 cars i found

i was wondering if people could show me euro saxo/106s (not keepin my flat arch so dnt worry about that lol) i dont no if i am searching the wroing thing por not i just cant seem to find any thing
also if people could show me unique things done to saxos/and 106s that people like the look of or just think its unique i would be very gratefull
another thing is that would this 106 rear bumper fit direct to my flat arch and was itr custom made or bought (if bought could some 1 show me a link to it plzz would also be very gratefull

also is the front bumper of the 106 a striagth fit to a saxo because i prefer the shape style and the way the wide mouth is done its not as high as the saxo vtr/vts but it is longer (if that makes sence lol)

    firstly...
befor we start what do people like smoothed in splitters or stretchd bumpers
    stretch example

this is teh only splitter i have found that will work because of my twin exhaust hence puttin a image of one with a twin exhaust up

    secondly...
how do you get hold of the stretch bumpers are they custom made or are they bought like it (they look standard and modded to me )

here is a few i found (a106 as well)

only botherd with this as it has twin exhaust i dnt realy like it but hey here you go

    thirdly ....
i will be kind of stealin this front but editing it with another =]
    heres both

if you see were the number plate is on the blue saxo i would like to do that but with the wide mouth the size of the creamy colour saxo but the shape of the blue if that makes sence

also would it be to much to ad the same splitter on this or would it set it of nicely

    forthly...
what sides are the best for the look im going for
these were all i could find if people find any more then plzz show me

finally for the cars that turned me to the euro side as you read all that you deserve to see =]

    sorry for the huge thread

but all help would be grately appreciated
  2. #2
they all look shit lol, but we are all different.
  3. #3
!!lol!! i just throught they was unque
just wondering if what people think your all be glad to no i ripped the kit of and the car is back to how i brought it just muddy lol the flat arch is back lol

just realised i put 3 of the same car up in the last photos so i changed them to what they sposed to be
  4. #4
i do like this front end, bonnet + bumper

  5. #5
second from last picture is ok actually, just dont like the bonnet. and i love deep dish alloys on saxo's.
  6. #6
lol thats what i like the front end im going to copy it and mix another front end lol also posted up there

does any 1 no about the stretched back bumpers...
    what sides would look better..

also if people could tell me what i would need to buy to get a stretchd rear bumper ...would i need to buy two standard bumpers ... same with the front
how are the ymade or are they brought
  7. #7
They all look shit , euro sucks now only like it on vags.
    Stretched bumpers look horrible.
Why not just do something subtle or go for track look
  8. #8
because i like the euro (each to thier own ...

does any 1 no any thing about these bumpers
  9. #9
you need £££££££££££££££££££££ and a hella lotta effort if your going to claim euro.
  10. #10
thats why i sed euro is just like those bumpers and that sort of style doesnt any 1 no how i will do those bumpers ....

all work will be done in stages starting with the back because i have no back bumper atm lol
  11. #11
Fuck, some of those look pretty sick.
  12. #12
i'd keep away from jap style bumpers/sideskirts (some of those cars ie orange one).
I'd also ditch the twin exhaust as they dont suit the euro look at all and suit more the chavvy bodykitted jap look.
Just find a front/rear splitter you like and get a bodyshop to smooth it into your standards
  13. #13

    What headlights are these?
  14. #14
    normal angels/chrome halos arent they
  15. #15
the front im definatly doing as i like it

should i stick with the standard vt sill or should i find some thing that would compliment it
and will be doing a stretchd rear bumper but completly the body shops design

This car is on here, he now owns a Audi TT which make me sex wee

Euro is a hard one to do matey unless you have some serious cash.

A lot of things you need to consider for euro are:

    - Wheels
    - Stance
    - Interior
    - Clean looking
    - Loads of custom parts
    - Doing something dfferent

Erm, it's hart to describe stance. lol

Stance is getting the right lowering height and wheel camber etc.

Its how the car sits basically

Didnt know it was being taken apart

ohh ok it will be on 15-with 175 45 tyres and not sure on lowerign still working all the kinks out this idea
  23. #23
Most important thing about euro is stance. A good set of wheels, proper low car and spaced out to create it.

You can only camber the fronts, not the rears ( without a hell of custom work)and would look stupid so forget camber.

Interior needs to look like it would be fitted in a bentley i.e luxurious/ classy. Doesnt have to be leather but thats the prefered choice. Keep it clean and clutter free, meaning dont fit tweeters and buttons everywhere, makes it look chavvy.

Bodywork needs to be smooth and clean. Delocking, recesses, boot badges etc. DONT SMOOTH EVERY THING YOU SEE THOUGH. There is too smooth. Make it as if it rolled out the factory like it if you get me?

And one of the hardest thing, be unique. Custom touches, never seen before mods, different etc

euro is hard to get right, i tried and still couldnt get it how i wanted. You pick up loads of ideas along the way but it does cost£££. Some things cost £££ and most people wont notice them but still need to be done to blend it all in i.e i spent £300 removing washer jets and 90% of people didnt notice.

Hope this helps you out a bit and good luck!

thnx alot mate i lookd at ur thread before realy nice saxo u have (if u still have it )

basicly thise is what i am doing its not fuly euro but i like it
its like a mix between jap and euro but not loads of jap

    and standard vtr sills

but still working out kinks like how much i wana lower it how much the bumper is stretchd at the back if the front will be bigger than standard etc

delocking and handling the best quoate i got was 1k inc all the parts and alarm was told by a very good body shop

i have twin exhaust aswell so thts not euro
im just going for what i like
  25. #25
so, you want a car, that when you type euro saxo into google images, it comes up...
  26. #26
i mean like similar ... will stil be doing unquie touchs i just like those bumpers
  27. #27
from experiance, don;t smooth your door handles. door poppers are a absolute pain in the fucking arse. never work properly for long without needing adjusting or something done to them. everything else tho go for it. be an expensive journey but worth it
  28. #28
i have maild the old owner of the green saxo if i can copy his back bumper just changing were the plate goes
but he hasnt been on since the 2nd so hopefully he comes on soon and lets me no =]
i am only doning the bumpers and a lil suprises on the arches lowering and then interior
  29. #29
so when is this project going to start
  30. #30
What unique touches have you thought of? Nearly everything has been covered?
  31. #31
cant really say everythings been done as someone could just come up with something at any minute thats not been done before.
but tbh copying other peoples ideas is gay
  32. #32
the project is just about to start as it a flat arch i am starting with vt kit and lowering and alloys i have a set of these : ino they ent euro but i dont have the money toget another set so they will do for now havnt realy thought of unigue yet but i have a few ideas i want to try but not givin them away

Euro'ing a car costs alot, however if you were good with bodywork, fibreglass etc and mechanically sensed you would save yourself a heap loads of money in the process.
  34. #34
thats what i am hopefully going to do as much as i can my self and i no a few people that can do bits on the cheap as mates for me
after buying the vt kit should and fit it should i lower it before making a stretched bumper
    what would be best ....
the front and side will be standar vt ones just wide mouthed or something similar
